Ok last Monday I went on a shoot with Chrome Productions. We were shooting a music video for Andy Barrows.
We started at 8.30 am and finished around 9 pm. I again was a runner and really enjoyed how filming a music video is different to commercial production. Which I think has increased my knowledge in all round production.
It was good to see the directors vision and to see what he was trying to entail. They used the Red camera on a shoulder rack not on a tripod or a dolly so they could get up close and personnel. A lot of their shots were close ups and also focus puller from the artist to an actor.
It was really fun and I hope to help them out again in the future.
Here is a call sheet from that day. Music videos are normally just shot in a day these days from what the production manager at Chrome told me.
